A study of the Vatican manuscript Cod. pal. lat. 1993 and its author, Opicinus de Canistris (Anonymus Ticinensis), with a reproduction of the manuscript, plates I-XXXVII. The manuscript, containing 27 leaves, is a heterogeneous collection of maps, calendars, geometrical and astrological drawings, and design of human figures, with annotations and marginal text; most notable fol. 2 (tafelbd. plate XIV) the anonumous autobiography of the author, 1296-1336.
